Zohre Allawzi, Assistant Country Director for America-Mideast Educational and Training Services (AMIDEAST), will be answering questions today from students at the Jubilee School in an on-line webchat regarding studying in the United States. The webchat is a part of AMIDEASTs and the U.S. Embassys efforts to provide information to Jordanian students interested in pursuing their higher education at American colleges and universities. Students will be able to ask their questions regarding selecting schools and programs of study, the application process, required testing, and scholarships. AMIDEAST will also provide information regarding their educational advising program, and where students can go if they have further questions following the webchat regarding studying in the United States. Students can also visit the "Youth and Education" section of the U.S. Department of State website at http://www.state.gov/youthandeducation/ for a range of helpful links for young people interested in an American education. Good luck with your studies!
